Game Terms & Conditions

1. General rules
  1. Users undertake to familiarize themselves with the contents of this Regulations before making a reservation by telephone or through the reservation system located on this website www.setmefree.com.pl.
  2. A reservation is a prerequisite for participation in the game and also constitutes an obligation to use the services offered by Set Me Free in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
  3. The person who makes the reservation is obliged to inform the other participants about the content of the Terms and Conditions. The Rules are available to all players on this website.
  4. The game is designed for groups of 2 to 5 people in the "Psychopath," "Panorama," and "Boy" rooms, and for groups of 2 to 4 people in the "Testament" room and groups od 2 to 6 in the "Stigma" room.
  5. The game is intended for persons aged 14 and older. The game in room "Stigma" is intended for persons aged 16 and older. Individuals under the age of 14 are not allowed to participate in the game.
  6. The duration of the game in the "Psychopath," "Testament," and "Boy" rooms is 1 hour and 15 minutes, while in the "Panorama" room, the game lasts 1 hour and 28 minutes.
  7. Participants must arrive at the Set Me Free location appropriate for their chosen scenario at the scheduled reservation time.
  8. The game is not recommended for individuals suffering from epilepsy, claustrophobia, or those undergoing psychiatric treatment, as well as for women in advanced pregnancy.
  9. By making a reservation and participating in the game, participants accept the conditions prevailing in the escape room, including specific scenic elements, offensive language, limited lighting, narrow passages, flashing lights, loud sound effects, religious symbols, or other elements of an immersive atmosphere.
  10. Individuals with a pacemaker or other similar medical devices are strictly prohibited from participating in the game.
  11. If there are any doubts regarding one's ability to participate in the game, it is recommended to contact the escape room staff in advance for further information.
  12. Participation in the game under the influence of alcohol and/or other intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited.
  13. The use of mobile phones, personal light sources, and audio or video recording devices is strictly forbidden during the game.
  14. Participants are responsible for damage they cause to the room’s equipment.
  15. Participants should be aware of potential set elements and take part in the game considering their own health limitations.
  16. There is an absolute prohibition of any physical contact with the actors — including touching, pushing, pulling, throwing objects at them, or engaging in any aggressive behavior towards them. Any violation of this rule will result in the immediate interruption and termination of the game without the right to a refund.
  17. In the event of a violation of the Terms and Conditions, Set Me Free reserves the right to terminate the game.
  18. Complaints regarding the game or reservation can be submitted by email to biuro@setmefree.com.pl. We will respond within 7 days.
  19. Set Me Free reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions. Changes do not affect reservations that have already been made.
2. Bookings
  1. Making a reservation is possible via the website www.setmefree.com.pl in the “Reservations” tab or by phone at +48 883 046 516.
  2. The User will receive a reservation confirmation to the e-mail address provided within a few minutes of placing the reservation. In case of any problems, please contact us by phone. In the case of a phone reservation, the User does not receive an e-mail confirmation.
  3. In the case of online payments, a refund for the reservation can be made only up to 24 hours before the reservation date and time. If the cancellation is reported later, the funds will not be refunded.
  4. If the reservation is canceled less than 4 hours before the reservation time, the person making the reservation is obliged to pay a fee for the game amounting to 30% of the reservation value.
  5. If you do not show up for the scheduled reservation without canceling it, the person who made the reservation is obliged to pay the fee for the game as if it had taken place.
  6. If a reservation is made less than 4 hours before the scheduled start time of the game, in the event of canceling the reservation, the person who made it is obliged to pay a fee for the game amounting to 30% of the reservation value, and if you do not show up for the scheduled reservation and do not cancel it – you are required to pay for the reservation as if the game had taken place.
  7. Cancellation fees or no-show charges reflect the expected losses from being unable to sell the time slot to other customers and cover staff costs.
  8. We inform you that according to Article 38(12) of the Consumer Rights Act, the right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to services related to leisure or entertainment if the contract specifies the date or period of the service.
3. Payments & vouchers
  1. Payment for the game is made after the game at the Set Me Free headquarters appropriate for the selected room. This does not apply to online reservations paid.
  2. The price for the game depends on the number of players, in accordance with the current price list in the reservation system.
  3. Payments can be made in cash, online before the game, via BLIK, Revolut, or Set Me Free voucher.
  4. The voucher can be purchased by sending a BLIK transfer to the phone number 883 046 516. The amount for which the voucher is to be issued is chosen by the ordering person.
  5. We send vouchers to the email address provided by the ordering person no later than the same day on which the funds are credited to the account.
  6. The voucher is active when it is entered into the system after purchase, which will be confirmed by information about the voucher number and purchase date on the voucher.
  7. The voucher is valid for 180 days from the date of purchase.
  8. We accept only gift vouchers issued by Set Me Free. Gift vouchers issued by Lockme are not honored.
4. Personal data (GDPR)
  1. The administrator of your personal data provided in the reservation form is the company Set Me Free ul. Powstańców Sl. 8, 44-200 Rybnik, e-mail: biuro@setmefree.com.pl.
  2. Personal data will be processed for the purpose of making a reservation, concluding an agreement, and its performance.
  3. The legal basis for processing: art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
  4. The data will also be processed after the performance of the contract for archival purposes. Legal basis for processing: art. 6 para. 1. lit. f GDPR.
  5. The planned date for deleting personal data is 3 years after the performance of the contract.
  6. In connection with the processing of your data, you have the following rights: the right to access your personal data, rectify them, delete or limit processing, the right to object to processing and the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
  7. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to make a reservation.
